Ulrick Steely (#185) Male Heir Settlement With Female Heirs

Ulrich Steeley of Derry Township in the County of Mifflin in the State of Pennsylvania died without a will. As a result, his sons Jacob, Gabriel, Lazarus, and Henry were required to give fair shares of the estate to their sisters: Sarah (married to William Frampton), Christiana (married to George Stroup), and Mary (married to John Stroup). The estate consisted of two tracts of land, one in Derry Township and the other in Armagh Township of Mifflin County. Each sister received 330 pounds and 10 shillings. The estate agreement was signed on 5 December 1795. The document was filed with the court on 13 September 1808.
